Revealed: All The Details About Archie Harrison's Christening - Showbiz Cheat Sheet

Just a couple months ago, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their newborn son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, into the world. And while they opted to participate in the typical first photoshoot and presented baby Archie to the public, he has been kept out of the public eye since. With the exception of an adorable photo featuring Prince Harry and Archie that was posted for Father’s Day, we have not seen the royal baby ever since. But that might all change when we see the baby for his upcoming christening.

When will the christening happen

Though the date hasn’t been confirmed by Markle or Prince Harry, a royal reported has made the announcement that the christening will take place this weekend on either July 6 or July 7. The christening will take place at St. George’s Chapel. This is a very special place for both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. If you recall, Prince Harry and Markle got married at St. George’s Chapel just last year. Furthermore, Prince Harry himself was baptized in the very same chapel when he was a baby back in 1984.

Will the Queen attend

Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that baby Archie’s great-grandmother, Queen II will be attending because of scheduling conflicts. Though this is not common, it certainly isn’t unprecedented. Just last year, The Queen missed Prince Louis christening because of scheduling issues. However, other royal experts have declared that there is still a chance that The Queen will make an appearance. In fact, some royal insiders say that the christening date was chosen to specifically accommodate the Queen’s many priorities. So we’ll just have to wait and see if Queen Elizabeth II makes an appearance this weekend.

A royal family affair

But whether or not the Queen attends the christening, plenty of other royals will be attending the affair. Of course, Prince Harry’s elder brother, Prince William, will attend with his wife Kate Middleton. Prince Charles and Princess Camilla are also on the list of those invited. Baby Archie’s maternal grandmother, Doria Ragland, will also attend. As of now, it is unclear whether Prince Harry and Markle’s close friends will be invited because the christening is being slated as a very private event. However, we can expect that Archie’s godparents will be announced, which could include a pair of famous faces.

New pictures of baby Archie

Because of the private nature of the event, we might not get many or any pictures of Archie. In contrast to his cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, Archie is being raised as a private citizen meaning that he will be kept out of the public eye as much as possible. While the press were allowed to photograph his cousins at their respective christenings with their family and godparents prior to their ceremonies, we can’t expect this will be true for Archie.

On the upside, it’s possible that Prince Harry and Markle will choose to share their own personal photos following the ceremony. Whatever the new parents decide, we’re sure it will be the best choice for their baby.

It Looks Like Lil Nas X Just Opened Up About His Sexuality On The Last Day Of Pride Month - BuzzFeed

On the last day of pride month, rapper Lil Nas X took the opportunity to open up about his sexuality, appearing to come out in a series of tweets and memes.

Jason Kempin / Getty Images

You probably know Lil Nas X best for his number one song with Billy Ray Cyrus, "Old Town Road". The song has so far topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 12 weeks and counting.

But in recent weeks, questions about Nas' sexuality have been rife on social media, which he seemed to allude to in a tweet when he said: "Some of y'all already know, some of y'all don't care, some of y'all not gone [fuck with me] no more."

some of y’all already know, some of y’all don’t care, some of y’all not gone fwm no more. but before this month ends i want y’all to listen closely to c7osure. 🌈🤩✨

Nas then asked fans to listen to "C7osure", a song from his latest EP 7, more closely. Although Nas has yet to confirm how he identifies, the lyrics seem to draw from his own experience of coming to terms with his sexuality.

Nas later added that he thought he'd made his sexuality obvious when he'd included a literal rainbow in the cover art for his EP.

Other fans also pointed out that another rainbow appeared in an earlier promotional video.

Over on Instagram, Nas posted a video alongside the caption: "Just cuz I’m gay don’t mean I’m gay." This seemed to cause some confusion as people in the comments questioned whether Nas was actually joking about coming out.

Nas then posted a picture of himself, using lyrics from "Old Town Road" as a caption.

Nas' manager Adam Leber also took to social media with a heartwarming message, calling Nas "incredibly brave and an inspiration to all the young kids who follow and look up to you".

BuzzFeed has reached out to reps of Lil Nas X for comment.

Meryl Streep is the worst thing about 'Big Little Lies' Season 2. What happened? - USA TODAY

Spoiler alert! Contains details about Sunday's episode of "Big Little Lies."

Listen, we love the Meryl Streep memes just as much as you do.

Four episodes into Season 2 of HBO's "Big Little Lies," airing Sundays (9 EDT/PDT), Streep's shady grandma Mary Louise has already created a slew of indelible moments that will live on in internet infamy.

There's that startling dinner-table scream from the season premiere, which has been ingeniously dubbed over by Carly Rae Jepsen and Lady Gaga's "Shallow" wail. Twitter users instantly latched onto Mary Louise's cross necklace, which she perplexingly rolled onto her chin mid-confrontation with uptight mom Madeline (Reese Witherspoon). And let's not forget about our favorite Mary Louise zinger, "I can't complain – actually, I can," which is our forever mood.

But when all the GIFs and jokes have been made, you realize there's not that much else to Mary Louise, who in Sunday's eye-rolling fourth episode continued to bog down a season that's already strained to justify its existence.

To recap, "Big Little Lies" is based on Liane Moriarty's 2014 novel and was brought to the small screen in 2017 by David E. Kelley ("The Practice"). It was initially intended as a seven-episode limited series about five wealthy moms in Monterey, California, who band together after the accidental murder of Perry (Alexander Skarsgard), the abusive husband to Nicole Kidman's Celeste.

Yikes: 'Big Little Lies' star Adam Scott slams Mitch McConnell for using his image, sparking feud

When the HBO show became a critical and ratings darling, a second season was ordered that stretches beyond the source material and introduces new characters – most pivotally Perry's distraught mom Mary Louise, who moves in with Celeste to help care for her two young grandsons.

Suspicious that Celeste is harboring secrets about Perry's death, Mary Louise relentlessly pries into her daughter-in-law's personal life. She continually undermines Celeste's parenting with withering put-downs and darting glances and questions whether she's even fit to be a mom, after Celeste crashes her car during an Ambien-induced sleep-drive. In Episode 4, she goes so far as to see a lawyer about gaining full custody of her grandsons, vowing to take legal action if Celeste doesn't comply.

It's a vindictive move that tees up a potentially heated court battle that we have absolutely no desire to see. Then again, it's the only storyline with any meaningful stakes for Mary Louise, who otherwise seems to pick battles for no discernible reason.

Not only does Streep's mother-in-law-from-hell refuse to acknowledge that Perry ever beat Celeste, but she also ruthlessly torments Jane (Shailene Woodley), whom Perry raped and impregnated. Mary Louise shows up at her work unannounced demanding that Jane get a paternity test, insinuating that Jane was either drugged and couldn't recall her real rapist, or had been with so many men that she didn't know the father. She continues to undercut the violent assault even after learning Jane's son, Ziggy (Iain Armitage) is her grandchild, suggesting that Jane must've "tempted" Perry or initiated sex.

ICYMI: Everything we know about 'Big Little Lies' Season 2, from Meryl Streep to Amabella

It's understandable that Mary Louise is struggling to come to terms with her late son's true nature. And if this were a better show, it could open up fascinating conversations about grief's many complicated forms, particularly when our loved ones have harmed us, others or both. But as played by Streep – who tossed any nuance into the same bin she found her distracting fake teeth – Mary Louise is a one-note viper who's more concerned with insulting Madeline's height than showing any human empathy.

We're clearly in the minority when it comes to Streep's scenery-chewing antics. The New Yorker praised the three-time Oscar winner for giving Mary Louise "a vicious and eerily hilarious maternal edge," while USA TODAY's own TV critic Kelly Lawler raved that Streep is "joyfully unrestrained."

And it's not like "Big" is going for subtle: After all, this is a season that staged a poolside fashion shoot in Episode 1 for the express purpose of watching Laura Dern sing Diana Ross in a shiny red gown. (Lest we forget last week's episode, in which coddled second-grader Amabella had a full-blown anxiety attack over climate change.)

But what made the first season of "Big Little Lies" such a treat was its deft ability to explore messy, fully drawn women in its soapy, high-stakes world. It's a shame that Streep, unarguably one of our greatest living actresses, is saddled with a character who only feels like a rough sketch. With only three episodes left to redeem Monterey's most meme-able matriarch, here's hoping the writers sharpen their pencils.

Kylie Jenner Cries Asking Kim Kardashian Not to Bully Jordyn Woods - Cosmopolitan.com

  • Kylie Jenner called Kim Kardashian out for bullying Jordyn Woods in the wake of the Tristan Thompson/Khloé Kardashian cheating scandal.
  • Kylie cried on the phone with Kim and asked her to stop posting shade online.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians aired it's insanely emotional/dramatic/all-the-things season finale last night and we learned a lot about what went on behind the scenes of Tristan Thompson and Khloé Kardashian's cheating scandal.

And the biggest revelation from the evening was 100 percent the fact that Kylie Jenner called Kim Kardashian during a girls' trip and tearfully asked her to stop bullying Jordyn Woods. Kim had posted videos of her and Malika Haqq singing along to the lyrics of Brandy's Who Is She 2 U" in the car, and apparently it really upset Jordyn—which upset Kylie.

"I saw the Snapchats and stuff of you guys singing," Kylie told Kim over the phone, before breaking down into tears. "I feel like if you wanna call her, yell at her, do whatever you want, or let's all talk in person, but I just feel like the singing and the internet stuff, it's just not okay. Jordyn hit me last night, she was just like 'hey do you mind if I come get some things from the house.' She got her things, she came in, and just like the look in her eye, like she’s just obviously really going through it. I just don’t think anyone deserves this. Let’s just express everything to each other in person."

Kim ended up taking the videos down, and later called out her friend Larsa Pippen for talking to TMZ after the scandal broke. "I wrote Larsa this morning, 'It’s looking super f*cking lame of you answering questions like this…. It makes it look like everyone around us wants a little extra shine after [Khloé’s] family getting torn apart."

Taylor Swift's former label boss blasts her Scooter Braun 'bullying' claims, says she knew about sale - Fox News

Taylor Swift lashed out at her Big Machine founder Scott Borchetta for selling the label, including the masters of her first six albums, to Kanye West's former manager Scooter Braun, who she accused of "manipulative bullying." Late Sunday, Borchetta fired back at the "Mean" singer's claims.

Swift, 29, posted a  blistering Tumblr blog Sunday alleging that she was never informed of the $300 million sale and that Borchetta had previously refused to let her buy back her masters without re-signing with Big Machine.

Borchetta wrote on the Big Machine website Sunday night, "Taylor’s dad, Scott Swift, was a shareholder in Big Machine Records, LLC.  We first alerted all of the shareholders on Thursday, June 20th for an official shareholder’s call scheduled for Tuesday, June 25th.  On the 6/25 call the shareholders were made aware of the pending deal with Ithaca Holdings and had 3 days to go over all of the details of the proposed transaction. We then had a final call on Friday, June 28th in which the transaction passed with a majority vote and 3 of the 5 shareholders voting ‘yes’ with 92 percent of the shareholder’s vote."

TAYLOR SWIFT SLAMS KANYE WEST'S FORMER MANAGER SCOOTER BRAUN FOR 'MANIPULATIVE BULLYING,' BUYING HER MASTERS

He continued, "Out of courtesy, I personally texted Taylor at 9:06 p.m., Saturday, June 29th to inform her prior to the story breaking on the morning of Sunday, June 30th so she could hear it directly from me. I guess it might somehow be possible that her dad Scott, 13 Management lawyer Jay Schaudies (who represented Scott Swift on the shareholder calls) or 13 Management executive and Big Machine LLC shareholder Frank Bell (who was on the shareholder calls) didn’t say anything to Taylor over the prior 5 days. I guess it’s possible that she might not have seen my text. But, I truly doubt that she 'woke up to the news when everyone else did.'"

KIM KARDASHIAN RILES TAYLOR SWIFT FANS BY POSTING 'FAMOUS' VIDEO ARTWORK

Swift's rep denied that the singer's father was a shareholder, telling Variety, “Scott Swift is not on the board of directors and has never been. On June 25, there was a shareholder phone call that Scott Swift did not participate in, due to a very strict NDA that bound all shareholders and prohibited any discussion at all without risk of severe penalty. Her dad did not join that call because he did not want to be required to withhold any information from his own daughter. Taylor found out from the news articles when she woke up before seeing any text from Scott Borchetta, and he did not call her in advance.”

Sources told the outlet that Swift's father instead had a proxy on a conference call into the meeting.

A LONG, DRAWN OUT HISTORY OF TAYLOR SWIFT'S FEUDS

Taylor Swift and Big Machine Label Group President and CEO Scott Borchetta attend the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 6, 2014 in Las Vegas. Swift slammed Borchetta for selling the Big Machine record label to Scooter Braun, who used to represent her nemesis, Kanye West.

Borchetta also published screenshots of deal points he'd had with the "You Need to Calm Down" crooner, which he said they'd discussed together at length. Borchetta claimed that they "were working together on a new type of deal for our new streaming world" that wasn't determined by a number of albums, but a "length of time."

He also included a text he claims to have sent the singer the night before The Wall Street Journal published the first story about the new Big Machine deal.

TAYLOR SWIFT'S TRANSFORMATION FROM COUNTRY SINGER TO POLITICAL ADVOCATE

There were also terms negotiated for her to purchase her masters which she declined. "Taylor had every chance in the world to own not just her master recordings, but every video, photograph, everything associated to her career," he wrote. "She chose to leave." Sources also told Variety that there were at least two offers to sell Swift her masters and that she declined both.

Borchetta said he and Swift were on good terms when she informed him she wanted to explore opportunities at other labels. She signed with Republic Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group, in November 2018; Borchetta alleged that Swift texted him minutes before her new deal went public.

TAYLOR SWIFT CALLS KANYE WEST OUT IN GRAMMYS SPEECH

He included the text he reportedly received from Swift, in which she wrote, "Since communication ran dry on our negotiations, I’ve done what I told you I would do and gone out exploring other options. Owning my masters was very important to me, but I’ve since realized that there are things that mean even more to me in the bigger picture. I had a choice whether to bet on my past or to bet on the future and I think knowing me, you can guess which one I chose. I also saw a rare opportunity to effect positive change for a lot of other artists with the leverage I have right now. I know you believe in the same things I do and I’d like to think you would be proud of what I’ve negotiated for in my deal."

TAYLOR SWIFT SAYS NEW ALBUM WILL HAVE 'POLITICAL UNDERTONES'

Borchetta also vehemently denied allegations that Braun bullied the singer, though he admitted he was "aware of some issues between Taylor and Justin Bieber," who is Braun's biggest client, but noted, "There were also times where Taylor knew that I was close to Scooter and that Scooter was a very good source of information for upcoming album releases, tours, etc., and I’d reach out to him for information on our behalf. Scooter was never anything but positive about Taylor."

The Big Machine founder then threw what some interpreted to be a low blow at the singer, writing that Braun called him to ask Swift to participate in Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester benefit and the Parkland March, saying she declined both offers.

TAYLOR SWIFT'S 'YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN' BOASTS CAMEOS INCLUDING FORMER ENEMY KATY PERRY

Swift blasted Braun and Borchetta in her original missive, writing of the deal, "Now Scooter has stripped me of my life’s work, that I wasn’t given an opportunity to buy. Essentially, my musical legacy is about to lie in the hands of someone who tried to dismantle it." She accused Braun of "manipulative bullying" through his association with former clients Kanye West (especially his "Famous" video, which depicts her likeness nude) and Justin Bieber.

TAYLOR CALLS OUT 'BULLY' KIM KARDASHIAN

The singer further described the deal as her "worst case scenario" and suggested sexism may have played a role in Borchetta's decision to sell the label, noting, "When I left my masters in Scott’s hands, I made peace with the fact that eventually he would sell them. Never in my worst nightmares did I imagine the buyer would be Scooter. Any time Scott Borchetta has heard the words ‘Scooter Braun’ escape my lips, it was when I was either crying or trying not to. He knew what he was doing; they both did. Controlling a woman who didn’t want to be associated with them. In perpetuity. That means forever."

TAYLOR SWIFT FALLS SHORT OF NO. 1 AGAIN AS LIL' NAS X TOPS BILLBOARD HOT 100

Reps for Swift and Braun, whose roster currently includes Bieber, Grande and Demi Lovato, among others, did not immediately return requests for comment, but Bieber, as well as Braun's wife, addressed Swift's claims.

Bieber posted a throwback selfie with Swift and claimed that Braun discouraged him from writing "Taylor Swift what up" on an Instagram caption with Braun and West weeks after West's wife, Kim Kardashian, published potentially illegally recorded videos of Swift seemingly granting West her permission to rap about her in his song "Famous," which she had previously denied, citing the track's misogynist message. While the "Baby" singer was apologetic for their past interaction, he also accused Swift of trying to "get sympathy" with her blog post and that she used her platform to get her fans to bully Braun online.

Braun's wife Yael concurred with Bieber's post, but was harsher with her words, accusing Swift of being both a bully and a liar. "Don't blame him because Kim caught you in a lie, it's embarrassing, I know — but adults own up to their mistakes," Yael wrote on Instagram. "We learn and grow from them, we don't divert blame and blur the lines of reality to suit our needs."

Everything and Everyone Khloe Screamed at Over Tristan-Jordyn Cheating Scandal in 'KUWTK' Finale - TooFab

The teasers promised lots of screaming and even some violence as Khloe finally processes the betrayal of Tristan Thompson and Jordyn Woods in the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" season finale, and boy did it deliver.

Knowing that she needed to work through these emotions, Kourtney and Kim invited Khloe and Malika for a girls' weekend, which wound up going viral when it happened due to video Kim shot of them singing in the car on their way to their Palm Springs vacation.

Even though she took it down after five minutes, the damage was done and it started an unlikely trajectory for Khloe and her family in the sordid saga. Of course, we all watched it play out as it was happening, like Khloe tweeting angry reactions to Jordyn's "Red Table Talk" appearance before finally making a more reasoned clarification.

Now, we get to peek behind the curtain to what was going on in everyone's lives around those social media moments as Khloe's dirty laundry was aired perhaps even more publicly than the last time Tristan majorly cheated on her when she was nine months pregnant. And just like then, it was both enlightening, disconcerting and upsetting to go through again.

As expected, the scandal -- which saw Tristan allegedly making out with Kylie's BFF Jordyn Woods at a house party -- impacted not just Khloe but also Kylie and the rest of the family. It just hit too close to home to have any lesser of an impact as Kylie had been a close family friend for years and years.

    Kylie & Jordyn

Once again, Jordyn did not make an appearance in the episode, nor did we hear anyone directly talk to her, but Kylie reported on interactions she had with her former BFF. And poor Kylie was stuck right in the middle of an impossible situation.

"She knows she put me in an uncomfortable position. We’re not, like, really talking.. … She’s probably the closest to me on this planet. … I’m in a really weird position because I care so much about my family; I also care about Jordyn."

When Kris Jenner asked her about Jordyn's living situation, as she'd been living with Kylie for awhile now, Kylie admitted what a precarious position she was in with Jordyn.

"I just feel like she’s going through a personal journey that I’m obviously not supportive of," she said. "I don’t know how we are going to mend our relationship if she doesn’t figure it out with Khloe. I’m just like, ‘What were you thinking?’ She f--ked up."

    Khlo Money Unleashed

It took a little boozing and a little push from friend Kimora Lee over the phone, but Khloe finally unleashed her angry side, airing it all out during her spa weekend with the girls. That must have been a little jarring to be getting a massage in one room while Khloe is unleashing her fury in the other.

"F--k these hoes," Khloe declared. "Everyone told me how aggressive and crazy I am? I am. I’m going to go back to the old Khloe ... For True I don’t want to act like that, but also for True I want people to be afraid. You want Khlo Money to come back? Guess what, Khlo Money’s coming back!

They even called Kris to give her a heads up that K.M had been unleashed upon the world, with Khloe shouting to a stunned Kris over the phone that she had been betrayed by "Kylie’s best f--king friend who sat on a golden f--king s--tting throne. Like, this s--t is so f--king wack that these bitches think they can go ahead and f--k our men. Mom, they’re going to try to f--k your man in a second."

It was Kylie who proved the voice of reason to help the sisters rein Khlo Money in by asking them to take the high road after seeing those aforementioned Snapchat videos that Kim deleted -- but the Internet saved anyway.

"I just feel like we’re bigger than this, we’re better than this," she told Kim the next morning. "And I feel like if you want to call her or yell at her or do whatever you want, or let’s all talk in person. I just feel like the singing and the internet stuff; it’s just not okay."

She then shared that she had seen Jordyn the night before and "she's just obviously really going through it," saying that no one really deserves to be so publicly dragged through the mud.

    Tristan's Loneliness

Throughout the episode, we got report of Tristan just barraging Khloe with phone calls and text messages, none of which she was taking. The closest she got was a video chat with Savas Oguz, who was upstairs at Tristan's house.

After dropping by when Tristan suggested he was suicidal last week, Savas told Khloe he came over again because his friend was acting odd. "Girl, the guy’s telling me some weird shit, like he’s so lonely and this and that, so I came," he said. "I’ve never seen him like this in my life."

But he was speaking with Khlo Money by this point, and she was having none of it, especially after he said, "He still says, like, he does not remember anything. Well, what he actually said he didn’t kiss her."

And thus the stage was set for that infamous "Liar!" scream E! has been using to basically promote the entire season, but especially this final episode. "They both admitted it to me, both of them!" Khloe screamed. "That f--king asshole! Don’t f--king lie to me about f--king lying!"

Her reckless angry escalated throughout the night to where she was oddly talking out her frustrations in a drunkenly humorous way on Kourtney, who saw both the good and the bad in what was going down.

"Khloe’s drunk and emotional and I’m happy for her to get these feelings out, but I’m also a little bit scared for my life," Kourtney said of her little sister tossing her around. "She could literally snap my neck off."

Even when she had calmed down later, though, Khloe said of Tristan, "There is no amount of phone calls or apology text messages that is ever going to repair Tristan and my relationship." That trust has been broken, rebuilt (maybe) and shattered beyond repair.

    The Red Table Turns

The next big shock came when they found out Jordyn was appearing on Jada Pinkett Smith's "Red Table Talk" Facebook series. Especially as Jada is good friends with Kris, so why didn't she put a stop to it. Kris said she texted Jada about it the morning of, but never heard back, but none of that was relevant to Khloe, who called out her mom for trying too hard to please too many people.

"Don’t back down because these people have no f--king loyalty to you," Khloe told Kris. "We are your f--king tribe. And we will always love you and rock with you and do whatever. You don’t have to tell me twice, I got your back. I’ll do whatever the f--k you want me to do. But sometimes I wish I felt the same from you. I think you have the best intentions. You could be a f--king badass bitch to people."

More than that, though, she couldn't believe Jordyn was "doing press" while she'd still yet to apologize to Khloe. "The fact that she’s not at all of our doorsteps. You know my mother, you know my sisters," Khloe said. "I talked to you about the first time Tristan cheated on me. I confided in you. Like, my world got destroyed while Jordyn is doing press interviews about it? Who the f--k do you think you are?"

She went on to ask rhetorically, "She can’t call me to apologize? Not one time. She never called me one time after the Tuesday she admitted what she did. But you can go and do a sit-down interview? That blows my mind.

In a family meeting, Scott Disick suggested the very real possibility that Jordyn was just too scared to talk to Khloe. "You guys are some of the most powerful people in the world," he said.

To this, Khloe shot back, "She should have been more scared to ever touch my man and she wasn’t. She was too f--king comfortable."

But perhaps the most shocking thing for Khloe came after she made the impulsive decision to livetweet Jordyn's "RTT" appearance, refuting her claims and even going so far as to seemingly blame Jordyn for the breakup of her relationship. And just like that, the tables turned and Khloe found herself in the crosshairs as Jordyn looked sympathetic and she was suddenly the bully.

"I just have no idea how all of this flipped like that. Like, I reacted out of emotion and I never should have tweeted," Khloe admitted. "But Jordyn made a point to say in her interview, ‘By the way, I’m not the reason they broke up.’ And I was just reiterating you are part of the reason."

"You’re not the sole reason, of course not," Khloe continued. "But regardless, she and Tristan still violated me. And in all of this, I’m now getting death threats, threatening my child, like the craziest things. ... I didn’t choose to make this public."

After speaking with Kim about the unexpected turn of events, Khloe did send out a series of tweets, clarifying her stance and stating emphatically that Jordyn did not end her relationship.

    Not Just a TV Show

One of the threads running through the episode was how controlled Khloe felt, and how she just couldn't process this level of hurt under the auspices of being a responsible reality TV star. "Kim and mom have calmed me down so much in my life. This is not who we are, you’re going to ruin our name," she said early in the hour. "And I wish you guys would let me go back to who I used to be."

In a confessional she said, "Everyone’s so concerned about their image and how they’re perceived and blah-blah-blah and their brands," she said. "Shut the f--k up! Who gives a f--k about a brand, this is my life. Who gives a f--k about our image anymore. It has to stop."

And even though she knows what she signs up for by agreeing to be part of the "KUWTK" empire, Khloe nevertheless hopes people realize that this is more than just a television show. "It’s my real life. No one would ever fake this," she said. "I get we’re entertainment, but we’re still human. Sometimes I think the world forgets just to be kind and that we’re all going through something. And maybe just be a little more understanding because it f--king sucks."

"I'm not just a TV show," she said at another point with tears in her eyes. "Like, this is my life and it breaks my soul and it’s happened so many times."

"Spider-Man: Far From Home": Does Whatever A Spider Can, And More - Star2.com

Haven’t we been here before? Last year, Marvel Studios followed the earth-shattering impact of Thanos’ snap in Avengers: Infinity War with the decidedly more low-key and down-to-earth Ant-Man And The Wasp. They repeat that trick again with Spider-Man: Far From Home, a fitting epilogue to Avengers: Endgame that soars while keeping its feet firmly on the ground (as well as walls, bridges and ceilings).

In another franchise or ‘cinematic universe’, this would have been unthinkable, but the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has proven over and over again that every single one of its films can stand on its own. There is no need to strike while the iron is hot because the iron is ALWAYS hot.

Oh, if you haven’t watched Avengers: Endgame, you might want to look away now. But hey, the movie’s been re-released in cinemas, so there’s no excuse for NOT watching it now.

Anyway, Far From Home takes place eight months after Endgame, and takes a pretty poignant look at how the world is coping after the ‘Blip’, in which half the population was snapped away by Thanos in Infinity War and then ‘blipped’ back into existence five years later, in Endgame.

    Spdier-Man: Far From Home

Man, I’ve missed the smell of spandex breath… NOT.

Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and most of his classmates – including his best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon), his crush MJ (Zendaya) and nemesis Flash – were blipped, and returned only to find that many of their peers have grown five years older, and that they have to start their school term all over again.

But don’t worry, we don’t have to sit through scenes of them studying and sitting for tests, because the gang are off to Europe for a school trip! While in Europe, Peter is recruited (more like hijacked) by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to help save the world from a group of destructive ‘Elementals’, with the help of the mysterious Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal), who reveals that he is from another alternate Earth.

While all that is going on, Peter also has to live up to the expectations of being Tony Stark’s ‘chosen one’, with the help of Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau). You see, after the sacrifice Tony made to save the universe from Thanos, his legacy (and tech) is passed on to Peter, who now has to deal with the idea of being the ‘next Iron Man’.

Man, I've missed the smell of spandex breath... NOT.

“You think spandex breath is bad? Try breathing inside a fish bowl.”

After the cosmic, multi-reality, multiple-timeline shenanigans of Endgame, the teenage trials of Peter Parker makes for a refreshing return to the MCU. Having lived (and blipped) through the events of Infinity War and Endgame, Peter is no longer the wide-eyed kid he was in Spider-Man: Homecoming. (“B****, you’ve been to space”, Fury points out when Peter claims he’s just a ‘friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.).

But is he ready to step up and fill the void left behind by Iron Man? It’s a huge burden for a high school kid to bear, especially when all he wants is to spend time with his friends and maybe tell the girl he really, really likes how he feels about her.

It’s fascinating to see how Far From Home builds Tom Holland’s Spidey into perhaps the most well-developed film web-crawler of them all. The superheroic action almost takes a back seat, as the classic Spider-Man notion of “with great power comes great responsibility” is given an almighty spin that pushes Holland’s Spidey further and harder than the Tobey MaGuire and Andrew Garfield versions ever did.

Never mind Uncle Ben – how do you shoulder the responsibility of living up to perhaps the greatest superhero that ever lived, one that literally gave his life to save the entire universe?

    Spider-Man: Far From Home

“You’re not going to quote Ezekiel 25:17 again, are you, sir?”

That’s not to say the actual superhero stuff isn’t great. It’s not Endgame-scale epic mayhem, but some of the action sequences are quite ingenious, and are tailor-made for Spidey to utilise all of his abilities, including the newly-coined ‘Peter Tingle’ (otherwise known as Spider-sense). Gyllenhaal adds a degree of gravitas to a role that requires him to wear a fishbowl helmet most of the time, but does well as a father figure/superheroic companion for Peter.

While it’s been claimed that this is the TRUE ending to the Infinity Saga, Far From Home doesn’t provide many clues on where the MCU is headed now that the Infinity Saga is finally over. I guess we’ll just have to wait a little longer to see where Phase Four will take us. However, the final film in the Infinity Saga does provide an excellent epilogue to what has been arguably THE most ambitious and epic film sagas of all time.
