Uhoh! Here's What Queen Elizabeth Would Think of Prince Harry's Media 'Outburst' - Showbiz Cheat Sheet

Prince Harry is likely boiling with frustration as he battles for his pride and his wife. Upon the release of a letter penned to the father of the beloved Meghan Markle, the prince is outraged and wants justice for the invasion of privacy. He refuses to continue to stand by as media-based attacks are thrown towards his wife. Many are questioning what Queen Elizabeth would think of the situation while the prince himself is responding with his own defense.

Would Queen Elizabeth approve of Prince Harry’s so-called outburst?

According to Penny Junor, English journalist and author, the prince’s statement is “ill-judged” and would leave Queen Elizabeth quite unhappy. Junor blatantly stated that not only would the queen not approve of the statement, but also his own brother — Prince William — would more than likely disapprove of it.

Warning that the statement could cause damage to the relationship the royal duo shares, Junor believes the reaction was driven by emotions and could leave the two in even more distress. She has compared the situation to the years the Prince of Wales handled attacks from the media focusing on himself and his loved ones.

Junor has also reported that she believes undoubtedly the queen would neither be happy with the prince’s reaction nor would she think advisors have let a statement so broad and open go out.

What exactly did Prince Harry do?

has come to an end, but The Duke and Duchess have had the opportunity to look back on an incredible 10 days through South Africa, Botswana, Angola and Malawi. Thank you for following along! Their Royal Highness’s journey took them 15,000 miles across southern Africa where they we’re greeted by so many amazing people along the way. They witnessed the great partnership between the UK and Africa, met local community groups, leaders, and youth and elders, who all imparted knowledge and inspiration. On their final day of the tour, The Duchess said: “Please know that you have all given us so much inspiration, so much hope – and above all, you have given us joy.” • During their tour, The Duke and Duchess unveiled three new Queens Commonwealth Canopy projects, protecting forests and planting trees, and worked with the British Government to announce investment of £8m in technology and skills in the region. The Duke traveled to Angola to focus on the ongoing mission to rid the world of landmines, an extension of the work that was pioneered by his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. The Duchess announced gender grants from the Association of Commonwealth Universities to improve access to higher education for women, as well as four scholarships for students studying across the commonwealth. Throughout this trip they were able to join an important and essential conversation about the rights of women and girls – not isolated to Southern Africa, but also globally. Throughout this visit, The Duke and Duchess were struck by the spirit and generosity from every community they visited. Speaking to young entrepreneurs in Tembisa, a township in Johannesburg, The Duke said: “As I raise my own son, I want to make sure that what I’ve learned here – the value of the natural world, the value of community and friendship – is something that I can pass on to him.” • Thank you to everyone who supported from afar, and those who have followed along the way! On October 1, 2019 the beloved Prince Harry released a statement regarding legal actions he intends to take against the media. Starting off with the simple declaration on their belief of, as a couple, “media freedom and truthful reporting,” the statement quickly explained the reasoning behind the case.

The letter threw claims to “relentless propaganda” and even described emotional damage due to the repetitive attacks from the media. The statement pens a double standard and calls out the dishonest and manipulative work that the Mail on Sunday has continuously released. Prince Harry has clearly had enough and wants to put an end to the journalism themed war.

Throughout his statement, it’s made clear that this has been an ongoing battle for quite some time and the lawsuit has been a lengthy process in the making. Stating that bullying is uncalled for and will not be accepted, it’s made clear there will be no tolerance for any form of continuation when it comes to skewing and scattering the truth about the lives of his family, especially Meghan Markle.

The statement even offers up a humbling statement regarding the lawsuit being the right choice regardless of whether it’s the safest.

Could a media war impact Prince Harry’s family and their image?

While the declaration of a lawsuit has been made public, Prince Harry has also made it fairly clear that he feels the unfair and misrepresented reports have been damaging and of wrongful doing to his wife during her pregnancy and throughout the birth of Baby Archie. Exploiting his family daily and relentlessly, Duchess Meghan is unafraid to send her own message during this time of injustice.

The Duchess of Sussex is seen wearing a bracelet to showcase the infamous evil eye, which is known for being a symbol of strength during hard times and protection from the negativity that life brings.

As journalists and viewers from afar watch, the admirable couple seems to be disregarding caution and aiming to put an end to the ruthlessness from the media. Needless to say, the royal family is not afraid to stand their ground regardless of suggested opinions on what other family members would think or choose to do in the same situation. The duo is sending their own message and continuing to live their lives as happily and drama-free as possible with their precious Baby Archie.
