The show celebrated Brown’s win on Twitter with a reference to her Alabama roots.
Rounding the other couples who made it to the season finale were Witney Carson, who danced with Nickelodeon star Kel Mitchell, Sasha Farber who danced with Fifth Harmony member Ally Brook, and Gleb Savchenko who danced with country music singer Lauren Alaina. Savchenko and Alaina landed in fourth place, Farber and Brooke placed third, and in second place were Carson and Mitchell.
This season was notable for featuring former Trump White House press secretary Sean Spicer, who was eliminated Nov. 12 after several weeks scoring low with the judges (and lots of vocal viewers on social media). Before his elimination, Spicer had the lowest judges scores for four consecutive weeks, but when combined with the viewer vote, managed to avoid getting cut, thanks in part to Donald Trump, who used his vast Twitter following to encourage viewers to vote for Spicer.
The person behind the pay account alleging to be R. Kelly's former girlfriend will have to put up or shut up, because the platform they're using to make money wants hard proof they're the real deal.
There's been a lot of doubt Joycelyn Savage is behind the Patreon account ... an account which calls out Kelly, accusing him of physical abuse and forced abortions.
A source at Patreon, the company hosting the account, tells us Patreon tried Monday to verify the account. We're told the owner of the account will have a couple days to provide proof they're the real Joycelyn, or they'll be shut down.
Our source tells us the user will have to provide a government-issued form of identification to satisfy Patreon.
The account has made a significant amount of money -- we're told more than 2,000 users have paid the membership fee which ranges from $3 to $25. If the account does turn out to be fake, the money will be returned.
As for the allegations, one post reads, "I realized I was pregnant by this monster ... Eventually, I ended up getting an abortion I was forced to get the surgery done at his house."
Another post detailed an instance when Joycelyn allegedly called Kelly "babe" instead of "Daddy" or "Master" ... and claims Kelly choked her out for not addressing him properly.
As for R. Kelly's side ... his attorney, Steve Greenberg, seems to think Joycelyn is behind the account, tells us, "It is unfortunate that Jocelyn now seeks to make money by exploiting her long time, loving relationship with Robert."
A YouGov poll asking Britons which members of the Royal Family should and shouldn’t be funded by the tax-payer has revealed which royals should pay their own way. According to the poll of 1,642 British adults, 67 percent say Prince Andrew should not receive public funding.
Just 13 percent of those surveyed said the Duke of York should continue to get public funds, while 19 percent did not know.
In second last place were the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, with 44 percent of those polled believing they should not be given public funds.
Of those polled 38 percent said Meghan and Harry should be funded, and 17 didn’t know.
Royal author Phil Dampier told The Sun of the poll: “Prince Andrew has a massive task to salvage what’s left of his reputation.
“His suicide has left many unanswered questions, particularly for his victims, and I deeply sympathise with everyone who has been affected and wants some form of closure.
“I can only hope that, in time, they will be able to rebuild their lives.
“Of course, I am willing to help any appropriate law enforcement agency with their investigations, if required.”
On the other side of the poll, a staggering 71 percent believed the Queen should receive state funding - with 18 percent saying she shouldn’t and 12 percent saying they didn’t know.
Second on the list were Prince William and Kate, with 60 percent saying they too should be given public funds, 26 percent saying they shouldn’t and 14 saying they did not know.
And in third were Prince Charles and Camilla, with 51 percent saying they should get state funds, 35 percent saying they should be cut off and 14 percent saying they did not know.
Another YouGov poll, which asked around 6,600 respondents between November 2018 and November 2019 for their opinions on the Royal Family, saw the Queen finish in the top spot with 72 percent approval.
In second was Prince Harry with 68 percent, just two percent above his brother William in third place.
Kate, Duchess of Cambridge was in fourth place with 65 percent, Prince Philip in fifth with 52 percent and Prince Charles in sixth with 38 percent.
Princess Anne, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Zara Philips were seventh, eighth and ninth respectively with 46, 46, and 43 percent.
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall took tenth with 30 percent, Sophie, Countess of Wessex eleventh with 29 percent and her husband Prince Edward twelfth with 29 percent.
Bringing up the rear were the Yorks, with Princess Beatrice thirteenth with 26 percent, Princess Eugenie fourteenth with 25 percent and Prince Andrew fifteenth with 19 percent.
