Saturday Night Live'snewest cast member might have referred to an Asian-American presidential candidate as a "Jew ch---," but Andrew Yang is giving peace a chance, reports People. After Shane Gillis tweeted that "My intention is never to hurt anyone," but sometimes comedy "requires risks," Yang responded that "I prefer comedy that makes people think and doesn’t take cheap shots. But I’m happy to sit down and talk with you if you’d like.” He also defended Gillis, who has been criticized for racist and homophobic statements in his comedy, saying that "I do not think he should lose his job. We would benefit from being more forgiving rather than punitive. We are all human." (Read more Shane Gillis stories.)
It is natural for older siblings to look out for the younger ones. Even in the royal family, it can be difficult to watch brothers and sisters try to go out and navigate the world on their own.
Prince William and Prince Harry are not that far apart in age, and they most likely shared a lot of life experiences around the same time. This means that there is a good chance that Prince Harry had the advantage of turning to Prince William whenever he needed advice.
As most royal fans are well aware, there has been some tension between Prince William and Prince Harry in recent months. Apparently, it was over a discussion they had before Prince Harry was married. Prince William reportedly expressed his concerns and Prince Harry got offended.
Prince William and Kate Middleton barely had time to get to know Meghan Markle
Prince William and Kate Middleton were together for so long before he finally asked her to marry him that the media dubbed her “Waity Katie” for being so patient while waiting for a proposal. Prince Harry and Markle were together for a much shorter amount of time, only a little over a year, as reported by Town & Country.
After being Prince William’s girlfriend for so many years, Duchess Kate had plenty of time to form relationships with the rest of the royals. Given that Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry had a whirlwind relationship — in addition to the fact that in the beginning, they were living on different continents — the family, especially Kate and Will, didn’t have the opportunity to get to know Markle very well. We can only imagine that they wish they had more time to spend getting to know the woman who was going to become their royal sister-in-law, yet with busy schedules and limited time, this just didn’t happen.
Prince William expressed his concerns to Prince Harry
In a typical big brother move, Prince William reportedly sat down with Prince Harry shortly after he became serious with Markle. Us Weekly reports that while Prince William was only looking out for his brother, Prince Harry still didn’t take kindly to what he had to say.
The Duke of Cambridge expressed concern about the relationship moving too fast, and he wanted to make sure that Prince Harry knew exactly what he was doing. He also wanted to make sure that Prince Harry had enough time to completely think everything through before getting married. It is likely that Prince William was thinking about his relationship with Middleton, and how they had quite a few ups and downs, including a very public breakup, during the time they were dating.
With Prince Harry and Markle taking things so quickly, it wasn’t too much of a surprise that Prince William was cautious. Still, Prince Harry was upset, feeling that his brother was trying to ruin his relationship, and the royal feud allegedly began.
Why can’t Prince Harry blame Prince William for warning him about Meghan Markle?
Prince Harry needs to understand that if Prince William didn’t care about him, he wouldn’t have bothered to warn him at all. As an older brother, Prince William just wanted to see that Prince Harry was as happy as possible. He knew that for himself and Middleton, things weren’t always as perfect as they would have wanted them to be, and he was offering the advice and protection that he felt was necessary.
Although Prince Harry may have been a bit angry about the situation, Prince William was acting out of love and wanted the best for the younger prince.

A source told People magazine the relationship is new "but they are having a lot of fun together." They two reportedly met while filming an episode of "Carpool Karaoke" together.
One week ago, Deschanel confirmed her split from husband Jacob Pechenik after four years of marriage.
“After much discussion and a long period of contemplation we have decided we are better off as friends, business partners and co-parents rather than life partners,” a rep for the couple said in a statement. “We remain committed to our business, our values and most of all our children. Thank you for respecting our privacy at this time.”

With the news of Zooey Deschanel's split with husband Jacob Pechenik still fresh, the New Girl star is reportedly inspecting some new relationship real estate. A source tells People the 39-year-old actress and singer is now dating Jonathan Scott, 41, of the HGTV series Property Brothers. "It's new, but they are having a lot of fun together," the source says. Hollywood Life has pics of the couple holding hands on Sept. 13 as they arrived at a restaurant in Silver Lake, Calif. "Zooey and Jonathan kept looking at each other and smiling and sat closely, cuddling constantly throughout their meal," a source tells the site. "They looked very happy and casual" and "seemed giddy about one another."
Sources tell both People and ET Online that the two met while filming Carpool Karaoke with their siblings, Emily Deschanel and Drew Scott, who does Property Brothers with his twin. In early August, Drew Scott posted a pic on Instagram of the four of them together in a car with the caption "Brothers and sisters everybody sing." Hollywood Life's source notes Deschanel has been separated from Pechenik "for several months" and that "she wasn't really looking to date, but she and Jonathan hit it off unexpectedly." Scott was also previously married, to Kelsy Ully, whom he split from in 2010 after three years of marriage. Deschanel and Pechenik's breakup was announced earlier this month; they married in 2015. She also had a three-year marriage to Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard that officially ended in 2012. (Read more Zooey Deschanel stories.)
Felicity Huffman won't be doing hard time when she spends 2 weeks behind bars, but it ain't Hollywood glamour either ... she can do some sunbathing, but only after she makes her bed.
The actress is turning herself in to FCI Dublin Oct. 25, where she will serve her 14 days for her role in the college bribery scandal ... and we've got an inside look at what Felicity's life will be like.
Upon entry, Felicity will be stripped searched and then she'll get a jumpsuit, with 3 pairs of underwear. She'll get a hygiene kit with a comb, deodorant, toothbrush and some crappy toothpaste, plus a roll of toilet paper. She better conserve her squares -- Felicity gets one roll of TP every other week, which in her case means the roll needs to last her entire stay.
Felicity will be required to make her bed by 6:30 AM every weekday morning. On the weekends, she'll have to straighten up her prison cot by 10 AM. No maids, of course.
Most of her time will be spent inside, but Felicity can still catch some rays. Sunbathing is allowed at FCI Dublin, but only on the sun decks from 4 PM Friday until 8:30 PM Sunday. BTW ... inmates get at least 1 hour of recreation time each day.
TMZ.com
As we reported ... Felicity was sentenced Friday, in what is clearly a spectacular loss for prosecutors.
Prison food generally sucks -- just ask Bill Cosby -- and Felicity will sit down for lunch from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM every day, but she can't leave the mess hall with anything more than a piece of fruit.
Felicity will mix with the rest of the prison pop ... the inmates have a common area complete with TVs, cards and board games. Fair to guess ... she'll be Mrs. Popular.
Hear that??? It's Lori Loughlin breathing a huge sigh of relief.
And now, as we anxiously await the film's November reboot, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Reyhave teamed up to deliver us with a new, fiercely empowering track and video to play on repeat: "Don't Call Me Angel," which they presented to us early Friday morning.
In the nearly five minute, sultry clip, the trio—and really, we dare you to name a more iconic trio—don black wings, throw knives and wrestle in the boxing ring. Of course, there's also gyrating and face licking. (Thank you, Miley!) "Ain't from no heaven, yeah you heard me right," belts out Ariana. "Even though you know we fly, don't call me angel."
Meanwhile, Miley sings about being, well, an independent woman. "I make my money and I write the checks so Samy my name with a little respect," she croons. "All my girls successful and you really just our guest."
At the end of the Hannah Lux Davis directed video, we're gifted with a surprise cameo by the reboot's director Elizabeth Banks, who also stars as Bosley in the flick. "Angels, this is not our house," she says as they chug wine and snack on grapes. "Time to go to work."
For her part, Lana recently opened up about joining forces with Ariana and Miley.
"When I first heard it, obviously I wasn't on it. It was just Ariana‘s parts," she said. "They wanted me to write something, so I...kind of cut her verse into a halftime bridge and just saying some stuff over her courses as well, and then Miley jumped on. So, it's just really very spicy. A spicy little track."
Fans got their first tease of the song back in July when Song dropped its first trailer for the film, which also features Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska.
