Baby Boy! Jenna Bush Hager welcomes third child with husband Henry Hager - AOL

Welcome to the world! Jenna Bush Hagergave birth to her third child with her husband, Henry Hager, on Friday, August 2.

Their baby boy is named Harold, the Today show host, 37, told her coanchors over the phone on Monday, August 5. “We weren’t exactly sure about the name,” she admitted. “Then his big sisters called him ‘Hal pal,’ and we thought, ‘This is just perfect.'”

Jenna announced in April that she and the entrepreneur, 41, had a baby on the way. “I’m pregnant!” the journalist told her coanchors. “I’m only telling because Mila and Poppy found out yesterday in their Easter baskets. They told the man behind me on the airplane, they told people at church. I’m very pregnant. I don’t know how I hid this.”

The NBC personality gave birth to her daughter Mila, 6, in 2013 after her water broke during her baby shower. Poppy, 3, arrived in 2015.

“Named after my darling Gamps who went by Poppy during his childhood,” Jenna captioned her announcement at the time. “We are in LOVE.”

Now that their mom is pregnant again, Mila and Poppy are more than excited about welcoming a younger sibling.  “[They] are so happy to where they’re telling strangers,” the Sisters First author said at the time. “We’re thrilled. It is a shock. It’s a lot, but we’re grateful.”

The Texas native revealed the sex of her baby-to-be hours after her pregnancy announcement with the help of blue balloons.

She and Henry tied the knot in 2008. The couple lost a child before welcoming their daughters, and Jenna opened up about the emotional experience the day after her gender reveal.

“I go to the doctor’s office and she said, ‘Yeah, you’re pregnant, we gave the blood test, but we can’t find the baby,’” former president George W. Bush’s daughter recalled on Today with cohost Meredith Vieira. “I had no idea what an ectopic pregnancy was. They looked up and the baby was in my fallopian tube.”

Jenna Bush Hager welcomes baby boy with husband Henry - Page Six

Jenna Bush Hager is a mom for the third time.

“I have a new baby boy. Henry and I met our little boy on Friday morning,” Jenna said on the “Today” show Monday via phone. “His name is Henry Harold, named after my grandpa, and Henry for my husband, and we call him Hal.”

In April, Hager, 37, announced on the “Today” show that she and husband Henry Hager were expecting again. She also posted a video from an Easter celebration of their daughters Mila, 6, and Poppy, 3, reacting to the pregnancy news.

“They’re crazy about him,” Jenna said of baby Hal’s older sisters.

She later revealed that she was having a boy during a gender reveal on the show.

Newborn Hal is the latest addition to the “Today” show nursery, as Hager’s co-anchor Hota Kotb adopted her daughter, Hope Catherine, in April. Both ladies announced their baby news shortly after Kathie Lee Gifford left “Today” and Hager was announced as her replacement.

“But here’s the thing: There are no accidents,” Kotb previously said about the timing of the babies and Kotb and Hager’s maternity leaves. “Hope was meant to come right now. Jenna’s baby is meant to come exactly when it’s coming.”

'Fast & Furious' Spin-Off, 'Hobbs & Shaw', Off to $180 Million Global Launch - Box Office Mojo

by Brad Brevet
August 4, 2019

The Fast & Furious franchise has yet again delivered a #1 opener with the franchise spin-off Hobbs & Shaw taking the top spot at this weekend's box office. Overall the weekend showed improvement over the same weekend last year for the third straight week in a row and on top of Hobbs & Shaw, continued strong performances from The Lion King, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and the platform release of A24's The Farewell helped what has been a bit of a late summer surge at the domestic box office.

Universal's Hobbs & Shaw debuted in 4,253 theaters this weekend (the second widest release in the Fast & Furious franchise) with an estimated $60.8 million, which is right in line with the studio's pre-weekend expectations. The $200 million production also received an "A-" CinemaScore from opening day audiences and currently holds a strong, 90% audience score on RottenTomatoes. Of that audience, 58% were male, which lines up with the audience make up for The Fate of the Furious.

Of course, Fate of the Furious opened with $98 million, nearly $40 million more than Hobbs & Shaw, completing its run with $226 million domestically. Should Hobbs & Shaw deliver a similar, 2.29x multiplier we'd be looking at a domestic run right around $140 million, which would make it only the seventh highest grossing in the now nine-film franchise. In fact, outside of the first film in the franchise, the average multiplier for a Fast film is 2.4x, which would mean a domestic run around $146+ million. It will be interesting to see how the film performs next weekend as the marketplace will see a massive five new wide releases hit theaters. While none of the new films particularly target Hobbs & Shaw's audience, that's a lot of new content to go up against when audience interest in this spin-off clearly doesn't match the enthusiasm for the Fast films featuring the original cast.

Hobbs & Shaw's worth, however, isn't evaluated only on domestic returns as the film launched in 63 overseas markets this weekend with an estimated $120 million, securing a $180 million global debut. The performance is the fifth largest global opening ever for Universal, and tops the $177.8 million global debut for Godzilla: King of the Monsters earlier this year.

The film debuted at #1 in 52 of the markets it opened in, with Russia leading the way with an $8.1 million opening. Additional top debuts include the UK ($7.8m), Indonesia ($7.69m), India ($7.4m), Mexico ($6.96m), Japan ($6.58m), Taiwan ($6.2m), Germany ($5.45m), Australia ($4.89m), Malaysia ($4.67m) and Brazil ($3.9m). Hobbs & Shaw will open in Belgium, France and Italy later this week followed by launches in Korea on August 14 and finally, a debut in China on August 23.

Disney's The Lion King also delivered on expectations, dipping -50% with an estimated $38.2 million for a domestic cume that now tops $430 million. Internationally, the film added to its massive global cume with an additional $72 million, pushing its overseas total to $765 million for a global tally topping $1.195 billion. Next weekend the film will launch in Japan followed by an August 21 opening in Italy.

Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood also lived up to expectations, dipping -51% for an estimated $20 million sophomore frame. The performance puts the film's domestic gross at $78.8 million as it enters its second weekend in release.

Sony also landed in fourth position with Spider-Man: Far from Home, which added another $7.75 million for a domestic cume that now tops $360 million. Internationally, the film added another $9.5 million for a global cume that now stands at $1.08 billion.

Rounding out the top five is Disney and Pixar's Toy Story 4, which grossed an estimated $7.15 million as it entered its seventh week in release with a domestic cume that now totals $410 million. Internationally, the animated feature brought in another $10.2 million for an overseas cume that is now just shy of $550 million for a global tally topping $959 million.

Outside the top five, A24's The Farewell continues its strong platform run, grossing over $2.4 million from just 409 locations, bringing the film's domestic cume to $6.8 million. The film will continue to expand throughout August and beyond with no specific word as to when it will finally reach nationwide status.

In limited release, IFC's The Nightingale debuted in two locations with an estimated $40,082; Neon's Luce debuted with $132,916 from five theaters ($26,583 PTA); Cohen Media debuted Tel Aviv on Fire in 11 theaters with an estimated $50,987 ($4,636 PTA) as well as the 4K restoration of Joan the Maid in one location with an estimated $1,343; Oscilloscope's Jay Myself brought in $19,088 from one location after opening on Wednesday, bringing the film's cume to $27,750; 1091's Them That Follow opened in three locations with an estimated $15,000 ($5,000 PTA); and Music Box's Piranhas opened at New York's Film at Lincoln Center with an estimated $3,049.

Next weekend will see a crowd of new wide releases hitting theaters with Paramount debuting Dora and the Lost City of Gold in 3,500 locations; Fox's The Art of Racing in the Rain drives into 2,800 theaters; Lionsgate will debut Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark in 3,000 locations; WB will debut The Kitchen in 2,700+ theaters; and Bleecker will introduce audiences in 1,500 theaters to Brian Banks.

You can check out all of this weekend's estimated results right here and we'll be updating our charts with weekend actuals on Monday afternoon.

Box Office: 'Hobbs & Shaw' Opens With Strong $181 Million Worldwide Weekend - Forbes

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw began its box office sprint with a $60.8 million domestic launch and $120 million overseas. That number does not include China, where this franchise is a monster, as the film won't open there until August 23. Considering Furious 7 and Fate of the Furious both over/under $393 million in China alone in 2015 and 2017, you can make the case that the jury is still out as to how big this film will be until we see how it plays there.

Purely discussing domestic figures, the Dwayne Johnson/Jason Statham actioner, teaming up the hero cop from Fast Five with the supervillain from Furious 7, pulled a perfectly solid debut. Yes, it was the lowest (sans inflation) Fast & Furious opening since The Fast & the Furious: Tokyo Drift opened with $26 million in 2006. That one was arguably the first spin-off of the franchise since it contained barely a whiff of franchise continuity.

That spin-off was a kind of good news/bad news scenario. It bombed ($158 million worldwide on an $85 million budget), but it provided a scene-stealing supporting character (Sung Kang's Han) and relative newbie director (Justin Lin) who would both help the franchise revamp itself to fortune and glory. Three years later, Universal would again hire Justin Lin to helm Fast & Furious, a straight-up sequel to The Fast & The Furious.

Fast & Furious, starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and newbie Gal Gadot, was a prequel to Tokyo Drift (so that Sung Kang could return despite dying in the last movie). It would open with a jaw-dropping $70 million debut in April of 2009 and speed its way to $155 million. With a $366 million cume, it was the first entry to make more of its money overseas.

It was a pioneering case of essentially manufactured nostalgia ("New Model, Original Parts"). The Fast & Furious franchise became a de-facto cinematic universe well before the MCU because it took nine years to get an "everybody back in the pool" sequel. 2 Fast 2 Furious had Paul Walker but no Vin Diesel, while Tokyo Drift had neither.

But those two sequels, along with Fast & Furious, offered a bunch of new and colorful supporting characters who all showed up with bells on for Fast Five. Essentially The Avengers a year before The Avengers, Justin Lin’s Fast Five pitted Dom and his "family" against both a corrupt politician and a righteous cop played by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. In what still qualifies as a modern cinematic miracle, this fifth installment of a merely okay/pulpy/whatever series turned out to be one of the best action movies of the new century.

The Fast & Furious is a franchise that essentially began as a series of spin-offs. It ironically went into hyper-drive commercially once they got back on the straight-up sequel route, which should have been a clue that audiences didn't want cinematic universes as a matter of course. The only reason to judge this film's performance considering its recent predecessors (Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6, Furious 7 and Fate of the Furious) is that it cost around $200 million.

That's more than any of the previous installments save for F8 and (counting insurance-covered expenses related to Paul Walker's death) Furious 7. Heck, unless I'm missing one, this may be Universal's third-most expensive movie after Fate of the Furious and Furious 7. To be fair, they don't tend to drop zillions on each movie. Even the last two Jurassic World films cost between $150 million and $170 million.

Hobbs & Shaw opened just over/under the respective opening weekends of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation ($55 million in 2015), Jason Bourne ($59 million in 2016), Mission: Impossible - Fallout ($62 million in 2018) and John Wick: Chapter 3 ($56 million in 2019). If it ends up earning anywhere near the last three Mission: Impossible movies ($682 million-to-$792 million) or Fast & Furious 6 ($788 million) globally, then all will be well. But that budget means it's a spin-off that must earn comparatively to its franchise predecessors.

The franchise, at least in North America, will balance two competing variables. On the one hand, the Fast & Furious movies aren't very leggy and haven't been since Fast & Furious ($155 million from that $70 million launch). If it merely legs out like a standard F&F movie, we're looking at a multiplier between 2.21x ($134 million domestic) and 2.43x ($147 million).

That would be a genuine disappointment, both due to the budget, the franchise history and because it would mean the film has to depend on an overseas bailout. There is another big variable at play. Hobbs & Shaw is the last big movie of the summer, and it'll be the last "event movie" in theaters between now and It Chapter Two just after Labor Day.

And it'll bet the last kid-friendly biggie at least until Ang Lee's PG-13 "Will Smith versus Will Smith" actioner Gemini Man on October 11. The designated "last biggie of the summer" flicks tend to leg out whether they are very good (The Sixth Sense) or very bad (Suicide Squad). The last two Mission: Impossible movies both pulled 3.5x multipliers, as did Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014.

At worst, we're probably looking at a 2.43x multiplier like Suicide Squad, but realistically speaking I'd argue the "pessimistic" scenario is closer to Straight Outta Compton (2.677 x its $60 million launch in August of 2015). That would still be "only" $162 million domestic, but c'est la vie. A 2.9x (TMNT) multiplier would give it a $177 million finish, which at least would put it over John Wick 3.

A multiplier like Jason Bourne (2.745 x its $59 million debut in August of 2016) or Spectre (2.85 x its $70 million bow in November of 2015) gets Hobbs & Shaw between $166 million and $172 million. A run like The Meg (3.25 x its $44 million debut in August of 2018) or the last two Mission: Impossible movies gets it between $198 million and $211 million. That would be right in the ballpark in terms of the franchise average.

Nonetheless, it earned $180.8 million worldwide this weekend, and a 2.6x global multiplier (like Furious 7's combined $579 million weekend toward a $1.516 billion finish) puts it at around $471 million, without China. Conversely, a global multiplier (sans China for now) like Fate of the Furious (2.25 x $550 million = $1.236 billion) gives it only $407 million. The important caveat is that China is waiting in the wings on August 23.

Fast & Furious 6 earned $66 million in China in 2013, while Furious 7 earned $392 million there in 2015 and Fate of the Furious earned $393 million in 2017. The franchise got super-duper popular within two years, and (all due respect) I don't think it was about Chinese audiences mourning the untimely demise of Paul Walker. Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are both notable draws in China, as is Vin Diesel.

To what extent will this spin-off play like a Fast & Furious movie as opposed to a general Rock, Statham and/or Diesel flick? On the one hand, you have Rampage's $156 million gross, The Meg's $153 million gross and xXx: The Return of Xander Cage's $164 million gross. On the other, you've got Furious 7's $392 million gross and Fate of the Furious' $393 million gross.

That distinction, along with the global multiplier outside of China, will mean the difference between a $550 million-$650 million global cume and an over/under $725 million finish. It's almost certain to be the year's biggest Hollywood release that isn't a Disney and/or MCU movie. But it would be nice for summer to allow for at least one mega-blockbuster outside those parameters.

While many of us are thrilled Lamar Odom has found love again, we are also wondering who Sabrina Parr is and if his new relationship has finally helped him move on from his ex-wife, Khloé Kardashian?

Odom recently confirmed his relationship with Parr on Instagram

Lamar Odom has definitely had a rough few years but after changing his life around, the NBA star’s luck is finally starting to look up.

A few short months after receiving major success with his New York Times best-seller memoir, Darkness to Light, Odom is now adding another triumph to his list of accomplishments.

Three years after his divorce from Khloé Kardashian was finalized, Lamar Odom now has a new leading lady in his life.

A few days after being spotted with his new girlfriend, Sabrina Parr, while on a romantic Chipotle date earlier this week, Odom took to Instagram to confirm their relationship.

Though it is still unclear how the pair met, judging by the way they have been packing on the PDA in public, Odom and Parr look to be smitten with each other.

So who exactly is the woman who’s stolen Lamar Odom’s heart?

Well, according to Sabrina Parr’s Instagram, she is a health and life coach, as well as a personal trainer.

On August 3, Odom confirmed their relationship on his Instagram by posting a photo of the two of them posing together with Parr sitting on the former NBA star’s lap.

The NBA star will always have deep respect for Khloé Kardashian

While Lamar Odom looks to be extremely happy in his new relationship, many people are wondering if he still has a soft spot for his ex-wife, Khloé Kardashian?

The author was famously married to the reality star for seven years until the reality star filed for divorce in 2016.

Though Odom has admitted to his constant drug use playing a major part in their split, he has never stopped loving Kardashian.

Lamar Odom has even shared his desire to “rebuild” his relationship with his ex-wife and the Kardashian family, but knows that they will never be as close as they once were.

Now that Odom has found love with Sabrina Parr, has he fully moved on from Khloé Kardashian?

Seeing as though he is constantly sharing photos of his new girlfriend on Instagram, it is safe to say Lamar Odom is fully committed to Parr.

On August 3, Odom shared another pic of the personal trainer along with the quote, “It’s just like when you’ve got some coffee that’s too black, which means it’s too strong, what do you do? You integrate it with cream… But if you pour too much cream in it, you won’t even know you ever had coffee. It used to be hot, it becomes cool. It used to be strong, it becomes weak. It used to wake you up, now it puts you to sleep.” – MALCOLM X ❤️ @getuptoparr #blackroyalty.”

Though Lamar Odom and Khloé Kardashian have moved on with their own lives, the former couple continues to show their support for each other.

Ahead of the book’s release, Lamar Odom sat down with Entertainment Tonight to explained where his relationship with Kardashian stood today.

“I mean, I wouldn’t call it amends,” he said after being asked asked if the two have put the past behind them and come full circle. “I’ve spoken to her recently, if you call that amends.”

While he admitted to not having “much of a relationship now” with his ex-wife and the Kardashian family, he said he would always be grateful for all of their help during that difficult time in his life.

“I love you and thank you for being there for me when I couldn’t walk or talk,” he expressed when asked what he would say to Kardashian. “You know, when you marry someone after knowing them 30 days, I don’t think that love will go away. You know what I’m saying? A piece of paper that says we’re not together no more, that love will never go away.”

Read Prince Harry's Birthday Post to His 'Amazing Wife' Meghan Markle - Showbiz Cheat Sheet

It’s Aug. 4, which means it’s Meghan Markle’s birthday, guys!

In honor of her big day, people have been taking to social media to share the most adorable posts celebrating the Duchess of Sussex. While many of them will warm your heart, Prince Harry’s birthday post to his “amazing wife” might be the cutest one yet.

Prince Harry’s birthday tribute to Markle includes a cute photo

In the early hours of Aug. 4, the Duke of Sussex posted a photo of Markle relaxing in a chair, wearing a bright blue dress and a big smile. “Happy Birthday to my amazing wife. Thank you for joining me on this adventure!”  he wrote in the caption. He signed the message, “Love, H.” Aww!

According to reports, these lovebirds are celebrating Markle’s birthday at home. Since 2019 has been such a busy year for them, they reportedly wanted to use the day to spend time with their loved ones, including their newborn son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

“Prince Harry will be back from [a work trip] in Sicily, where he gave a speech about the fight against climate change, so they’ll be spending Meghan’s birthday quietly as a family. The Sussexes have been so busy this year that I can imagine her birthday will simply involve a well-deserved day of rest with a few friends—and, of course, precious moments with Archie,” royal reporter Omid Scobie wrote in Katie Couric’s newsletter (via Cosmopolitan).

Markle will also have a lowkey party

According to The Sun, Markle will have a small gathering at Frogmore Cottage for her birthday. She reportedly chose to have something smaller as a result of the criticism surrounding her lavish NYC baby shower.

“Frogmore Cottage will host a celebration for Meghan’s birthday,” a source told The Sun on Aug. 2. “The Clooneys clan will be in Villa Oleandra on Lake Como and the Sussexes will not want to be seen enjoying more of their lavish hospitality after the PR disaster backlash post the US baby shower.”

Many members of the royal family will likely attend the party. But, according to The Sun, Kate Middleton hasn’t been invited. It’s unclear why she’s reportedly not on the guest list, but it could have something to do with Markle’s decision to keep things lowkey. Or perhaps it has something to do with all those feud rumors about the two.

The Queen also has something planned for Markle

In honor of Markle’s big day, Queen Elizabeth has invited her to her favorite retreat Balmoral, where she’ll throw a tea party for the duchess.

“It is a testament to Meghan that she has been given this invite. It’s a huge [honor],” a source told The Sun. “They will celebrate Meghan’s birthday, and the catering team will bake a cake to mark the occasion.”

“Meghan may be a Duchess who can have anything she wants but the Queen is giving her a thoughtful present,” the insider continued. “It’s no secret Balmoral is Her Majesty’s [favorite] home and that’s why this invite is so special and heartfelt.”

Wow. It sounds like Markle’s birthday will be a blast. Here’s hoping we receive an invite to next year’s blowout.
