Katharine McPhee and David Foster are married: reports - Fox News

Katharine McPhee and David Foster are marriedaccording to multiple reports.

The May-December couple tied the knot at a church in London on Friday, according to E! News and Page Six. The groom's daughters Erin and Sara Foster were reportedly in attendance for the big day.

Per Us Weekly, citing a source, McPhee wore a custom gown by Zac Posen.

The "American Idol" alum, 35, and Grammy-winning producer, 69, have known each other for more than 10 years.

McPhee, then 22, first met Foster on the set of "Idol" in 2006 when he was a guest mentor for contestants on the show.

“She didn’t catch my eye on the first day because I was so busy trying to do my job,” Foster previously admitted. "But, the reality is that in the last 12 years I’ve always had a connection with her.”

Oddly enough, Foster also played piano at McPhee's 2008 wedding to Nick Cokas. She and Cokas divorced in 2014.

McPhee is Foster's fourth wife. His most recent bride was "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Yolanda Hadid, from whom he separated in 2015 and divorced in 2017.

Foster and McPhee were first rumored be a couple in fall 2017. They confirmed their romance in May 2018 and got engaged that July. "He did it at the top of this mountain in Anacapri," McPhee revealed on Instagram. "Totally dark, only stars." She added jokingly, "Thankfully, he didn't push me off the cliff. He said it was one or the other. And in the end he spared me."

McPhee is younger than some of Foster's own daughters, but the age gap doesn't faze the pair. McPhee explained simply, "We genuinely love and respect each other and have for a very long time."

She added, "He has things to learn from me and I have a lot of things to learn from him. So I think we have a nice yin and yang. It doesn't make sense to a lot of people, but it does to us."

Dog the Bounty Hunter Reveals Something 'Fans Do Not Know' About Late Wife Beth Chapman - TooFab

As the family and friends of Beth Chapman continue to mourn her loss, Duane "Dog" Chapman took to social media to share a video of his late wife guaranteed to make everyone smile.

Following her death on Wednesday after a battle with Stage IV lung cancer, Beth's husband of 13 years shared a sweet tribute to her on his Twitter page Thursday.

"People have asked me.. What is something fans do not know about Beth... Here you go," he wrote, along with a video showing her having a ball while singing Bruno Mars' 2016 song "Perm" with daughter Cecily.

Dog's daughter Lyssa shared another video from the fun-filled evening, writing, "Mom loved to sing and she loved her baby @icEciLy and she REALLY loved her some @BrunoMars. Hope you see this brother. Much Aloha." Dog retweeted her video, adding, "@BrunoMars you're her fav jam #portLockPride #SingaFewBars4Beth," though Mars has yet to respond.

Even though he is clearly deeply in mourning, the bounty hunter's first thoughts in a press conference was to protect the couple's fans from being scammed, assuring them the family did not need their money.

"We do have one problem," he told Hawaii News Now. "We've got people — mostly from the mainland — that are setting up funds, 'donate here to Beth' and all that."

"Right now, so far we don't need any money at all. Please save your money," he said, suggesting if fans really wanted to make a gesture they could send flowers. "There's nothing been authorized by any of us, but you know how buzzards are."

He added: "People in Hawaii or all over the world, we love you, but sometimes you can show love without money."

In a tear-filled interview, the reality star revealed his wife's last words.

"When she had an attack I didn't know anything to do but to say 'in Jesus' name' and hold her and when I said 'in Jesus' name' she said, 'Say it again, say it more'," he recalled. "And then she told the girls and everybody, with her mouth — she came out of it a couple times — 'I love you' and 'Are you guys all okay? Don't worry,'... but she never accepted it."

He managed a smile when he said his wife was already controlling his life from heaven.

"I'm sure she's still controlling me and I've got notes in my pillowcases, on my sink, in my shaving thing," he said. "She's still telling me what to wear."

Dog begged the scientific community to keep up their search for a cure, comparing cancer to the polio epidemic of the 20th century, which is now almost eradicated.

"The cancer gig, of course, we gotta find a cure," he said. "Because all we have now is some get lucky, but most pass away."

"It's just incredible when you walk alone in the bedroom and you're there and she was there two days ago," he continued. "I hope to god there is a God. I trained myself [to think] 'What would Jesus do?' and I hope I'm not just talking to myself. I hope there is a God and if there is, I'm gonna see my honey again. That's all we can do is hope."

"I loved her so much," he concluded. "As Lazarus lay, Jesus said he's not dead, he's sleepeth. My final words are Beth isn't dead, she's sleeping."

'Dog the Bounty Hunter' Star Beth Chapman Hawaiian Funeral Plans Announced - PopCulture.com

Beth Chapman's family plans to memorialize the late Dog the Bounty Hunter star at a public gathering to honor her life in Hawaii. In a press release, her daughter Cecily and stepdaughter Lyssa Chapman invited the public to come and honor Beth's life at Fort DeRussy Beach in Waikiki, Hawaii on Saturday, June 29.

The gathering is set to begin at 2 p.m. with a Hawaiian 'Oli (chant), prayer and then a "paddle out" with family and friends.

The family asked those attending to bring ocean-friendly loose flowers, with the exception of leis, as the strings can be harmful to ocean life.

"Beth had two homes - Hawai'i and Colorado. 'I love Hawai'i the most,' she said, so she will be sent off in true Hawaiian style, with aloha," the press release reads.

"Duane Chapman is also finalizing plans for a memorial service in Colorado, and details will be announced shortly. Those wishing to post photos and videos are asked to tag with #alohaoemrsdog."

The release explained that 'Oe means 'you' in Hawaiian and that it's customary to say "Aloha 'Oe" especially when saying goodbye. "There is a song by the same name which Hawaiians often sing at the end of a party, funerals, or when people are leaving the islands," the release reads.

Previously, Beth's husband, Duane "Dog" Chapman, revealed to Hawaii News Now that the family planned on having two separate events to honor her life — one in Hawaii and another in Colorado.

"We would like to do some sort of water paddle out, we know that for sure," Lyssa Chapman said alongside her father. "It actually makes us feel, you know, warm, to know how much our mother was loved."

Dog announced Wednesday the his wife of 12 years had died after her battle with cancer, writing on Twitter that she "hiked the stairway to heaven." She was 51.

The A&E network, which aired Dog the Bounty Hunter during its run from 2004 to 2012, confirmed that it will honor Beth's memory with a marathon of episodes of Dog the Bounty Hunter airing Monday, with a special "in memory of" title card for the star at the end of each episode.

"We are very saddened by the loss of Beth Chapman and our thoughts are with Dog and the entire Chapman family during this difficult time," A&E shared in a statement.

WGN America, which is set to produce and air the family's upcoming series, Dog's Most Wanted, in 2020, also shared a tribute to the late reality star.

Speaking to Hawaiian press, Dog shared what happened during Beth's final moments in the hospital.

"One of the last things she said [was], 'This is a test of my faith.' She had faith and then that was it," he said. "... There's things you go through when you're dying, like steps. Like you do when you lose someone. You get mad at them and then you go through all these steps. Well, the last step when you're dying is to accept it. And she said to me the other day, 'Honey, that last step I ain't taking.' Go Bethy."

"She did it her way. There's some things [I can't say], you know, I have a network and a contract, but there's some things that they predicted that the doctors ended up saying, 'We've never, ever seen anything like this,'" Duane said, referring to his WGN America reality show, Dog's Most Wanted, he also stated. "...She wanted to live so bad and she fought so long. And the reason she fought, she liked life, but she wanted to show people how to beat it and what to do when it got her."

Steven Adler Reportedly Suffers Self-Inflicted Stab Wound - Ultimate Classic Rock

Former Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler was rushed to hospital after stabbing himself at his Los Angeles home, TMZ has reported.

The incident is said to have taken place on the evening of June 27. “Law enforcement sources tell TMZ someone at Adler’s L.A. home called 911 shortly after 6:30 Thursday night to report someone had stabbed themselves,” the story read. “We’re told when cops and paramedics arrived, they discovered it was Adler who had suffered a stab wound to his stomach.”

The injury was reported to be “non-life threatening” and no one else was suspected to have been involved. While Adler’s social media channels filled with messages of support from followers, no official statement had been released at time of writing.

While Adler, 54 – birth name Michael Coletti – is not part of the Guns N’ Roses reunion lineup featuring Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan, he's made a handful of brief guest appearances during their Not In This Lifetime world tour.

“[W]e were a magic band, like Led Zeppelin, or Aerosmith or Queen,” he said in 2018. “Once we were together we couldn’t do anything wrong. If one person left the band and did Appetite [For Destruction], Appetite would not be Appetite. And it’s a shame because Use Your Illusion when we did the demo tape, I kept saying, or we kept saying, it was gonna be bigger and better than Appetite but once they kicked me out of the band, part of the magic was gone. It’s a different band. A completely different band.” He added: “You know, if they want me, they know my number – I’m ready to rock.”

#KimOhYes: Singapore-themed kimono at G20 Summit sparks joy for social media users - Coconuts

Kimonos sure have been getting a lot attention on the internet this week (you’ve probably poked around a few #KimOhNo Twitter threads by now).

In a tiny redemption of kimono integrity, we have for you today a kimono that has been attracting the right kind of social media attention.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is currently in the city of Osaka, Japan for the G20 summit, which kicked off earlier today. As he and major political leaders from around the world meet to discuss international finance policy and issues over the next two days, PM Lee took to social media this morning to post these images of himself, alongside his wife Ho Ching.

In the photos, the couple are seen posing with a Japanese representative at the summit, Yui Yamada, who wore a special Singapore-ified kimono to greet the Lees.

Received a gracious welcome yesterday evening by Miss Yui Yamada in her unique kimono – a beautiful blend of exquisite Japanese workmanship and the iconic sights and symbols of Singapore!” he wrote in a post published on his Facebook page this morning.

The traditional handwoven kimono seen on Yamada was designed by students from Kagoshima Prefecture, who integrated the Lion City’s most iconic imagery into the cloth: the Merlion, our national flower Vanda Miss Joaquim and the Singapore skyline.

The design was first unveiled by the Singapore embassy in Tokyo in March this year, and was produced as part of the ambitious “Imagine Oneworld” project launched five years ago. The project aims to make kimonos representing each of the 196 countries expected to join the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Most of the people who commented on PM Lee’s post expressed pride and approval at seeing this aspect of Singaporean culture represented in an event as globally significant as the G20 summit, which typically gathers leaders from the countries with the biggest and fastest-growing economies in the world.

Some were also quick to compare the kimono to reality TV star Kim Kardashian’s latest business venture — a new line of form-fitting shapewear named Kimono — pointing out that this garment is a good example of cultural appreciation, and not appropriation.

In case you’re not yet familiar with the Kardashian kontroversy of the week, Kim’s choice to name her shapewear line after the traditional Japanese garment — as well as her attempt to file a trademark on the name for this brand in the US — has (rightfully) provoked the ire of internet users across the world, particularly among English-speaking individuals of Japanese descent.

The kimono is seen as a significant piece of Japan’s historical, cultural and artistic pride, and is usually only worn for formal affairs. Kardashian’s attempt to claim the word for her line of what’s essentially underwear is being criticized for being an ignorant act of cultural appropriation.
