Angelina Jolie drops Brad Pitt's last name as divorce continues - AOL

Angelina Jolie’s legal name and stage name are now one and the same. The 43-year-old recently dropped “Pitt” from her last name amid her divorce from estranged husband Brad Pitt, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly.

The news comes two days after Us reported that Jolie and Pitt, 55, are legally single. According to court docs, the former couple filed a judgment on Friday, April 12, to move for a bifurcated judgment. This means they could end their marriage even as they continue to negotiate their divorce settlement.

The Blast, which was the first to report the news of Jolie’s name change, asserts it was “very important for the stars to emotionally break away from each other and begin their new single lives, so the documents were fast-tracked with their private judge.”

Jolie and Pitt split in September 2016 after two years of marriage and 12 years together, and they’ve spent much of the time since then fighting over custody of their children: Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10. (The children’s last names will continue to be the hyphenated Jolie-Pitt, according to The Blast.)

In December 2018, Us confirmed the former Mr. & Mrs. Smith costars reached a custody agreement and thus avoided going to trial. “Brad and Angelina will have joint physical and legal custody of the children,” an insider told Us at the time. “Over a period of the next six to eight weeks, the monitored visits will come to a conclusion. The children will immediately begin to have overnight visits with their father.”

Though one source told Us at the time that Pitt “got what he wanted,” another asserted a week later that the War Machine actor is not on good terms with Maddox and Pax and “has accepted that he’ll likely never be able to repair their relationship.”

For her part, Jolie is viewing every day with her six kids as “a new adventure,” a source told Us earlier this month. “[She] really likes the life lessons and new ideas that come from trying all different things,” the source added. “The sky’s the limit for her.”

Hoda Kotb welcomes another daughter - CNN

The "Today" co-anchor announced she adopted a little girl named Hope Catherine Kotb.
Kotb shared the news during a phone call into her show on Tuesday.
"Today" shared a photo of Kotb with her new baby and her older daughter, 2-year-old Haley Joy, on social media.
"Congratulations are in order for @hodakotb, who adopted a second little girl, Hope Catherine, this week," the caption on the Instagram photo read.
Kotb, 54, hinted at her expanded family on her official Instagram account earlier Monday, sharing a photo that read: "Choose Hope."
"Happy Monday xx," she wrote in the caption.
Kotb surprised viewers in 2017 when she revealed that she was a first-time mom, having adopted Haley Joy.
On Tuesday, Kotb said during the show that Haley Joy had already taken to her new role.
"This morning at breakfast [Haley] was trying to feed [the new baby] her raspberries and I was like, 'Not yet, babe,''' Hoda said. "She was literally marching around saying, 'I'm a big sister.'''

Snoop Dogg, The Game call for Ingraham's firing after she appeared to mock Nipsey Hussle | TheHill - The Hill

Musicians including rappers Snoop Dogg and The Game are calling for Fox News to dismiss host Laura Ingraham over comments she made about deceased rapper Nipsey Hussle.

The rappers took issue with a news segment in which Ingraham appeared to mock Hussle's criticism of President TrumpDonald John Trump2020 Dem hits back at Trump for giving 'firefighting advice' to Paris: 'Do your own damn job' French officials reject Trump suggestion to use 'flying water tankers' on Notre Dame fire Overnight Energy: Interior watchdog opens investigation into new secretary | Warren unveils 2020 plan to stop drilling on public lands | Justices reject case challenging state nuclear subsidies | Court orders EPA to re-evaluate Obama pollution rule MORE, saying that they would not allow the host to disrespect the late artist.

Los Angeles-based rapper The Game said in an Instagram post that Fox News should fire her or risk losing "millions of viewers."

“We are NO LONGER laying quiet while you continuously disrespect our brother, culture African Americans as a whole,” The Game wrote. “I will use my platform & call on my peers to do the same. Nips passing nor his legacy is to be taken lightly as there will be consequences for any disrespect now or in the future as long as I have a voice!!!”

Snoop Dogg, who spoke at a memorial service for the late rapper, commented on the post, "I'm in."

Rapper T.I. also criticized Ingraham's comments, calling the segment "disgusting."

“Neither of you WILL EVER know or experience the level of love, appreciation and respect that Nip has," T.I. said in a separate Instagram post, referring to Ingraham and Fox News contributor Raymond Arroyo. "EVEN IN DEATH!!! So let that sizzle in ya lil hateful, demonic spirits.”

R&B artist Tank shared a link on his Instagram to a petition calling for Ingraham's dismissal. The petition had received more than 36,000 signatures as of Tuesday morning.

Ingraham last week appeared to mock one of rapper YG's hits songs, "FDT," that he released in tandem with Hussle in 2016. The song includes the chorus, "F--- Donald Trump."

“Now, this dear artist recently released a song called FDT, 'F Donald Trump,'" Ingraham said on her nightly news program, before transitioning to a clip from a music video for the song.

"OK, that’s a very creative refrain," Ingraham added. "The chorus that goes on and on, is that related to lowest unemployment ever, basically, for African-Americans?”

The remarks came just weeks after Hussle was shot and killed outside a clothing store he owned in Los Angeles.

Fox News did not immediately return a request for comment from The Hill.

Hussle voiced his displeasure with Trump in an interview with Billboard in April 2016, saying that the then-presidential candidate's stance on Hispanic people bothered him.

"That made me [feel] like dude is definitely out of his mind and our country sounding crazy for even taking him as a legitimate candidate," he said of his remarks about Hispanics. "It says something about the American people if he do actually get elected."

Wendy Williams' Estranged Husband Kevin Hunter Not Long for TV Show - TMZ

Wendy Williams Estranged Husband Not Long for TV Show

4/16/2019 7:34 AM PDT

EXCLUSIVE

Wendy Williams' estranged husband will not be an executive producer on the show for long ... production sources tell TMZ.

Our sources say the deal-breaker for Kevin Hunter is not about his duties on the show ... it's about Wendy's mental and physical health. We're told she's doing great now, but our sources say it's apparent Kevin's presence on the set causes her stress.

Case in point ... a week ago there was a major blowup on the set between Wendy and Kevin. We're told security had to step in between them and Kevin was temporarily removed from the area. And, our sources say there have been several other blowups as well.

We're told Wendy and Kevin are close to reaching "an accord" whereby he'd step down as executive producer.

As for Kevin -- who allegedly just fathered a baby with his mistress -- he released a statement Tuesday, saying, "I am not proud of my recent actions and take full accountability and apologize to my wife, my family and her amazing fans."

Kevin goes on to say ... "I am going through a time of self-reflection and am trying to right some wrongs."

Wendy filed for divorce last week and on her show Monday said she was focused on the future, saying, "I have a whole new life that I planned for myself and my son."
