Country music icon Reba McEntire has returned to hosting the 54th Academy of Country Music Awards for the 16th time Sunday night. Chris Stapleton and Keith Urban lead in the top categories with nominations for both male artist of the year and entertainer of the year.
McEntire also shared some details about her hosting gig, which she promised would be politics-free.
"We've got to keep it light. We've got to keep it fun. No politics. This is fun. This is entertainment. We are in the entertainment business, and that's what we're going to be doing," she said.

At the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night, the focus isn’t only on honoring the best in country music.
Fans and professional critics alike will be weighing in on the good, the bad and the merely questionable fashions worn by celebrities arriving on the 54th ACM red carpet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Sunday’s show airs at 8 p.m. Eastern on CBS.
The show is being hosted by Reba McEntire.

Nominees for Entertainer of the Year are Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Chris Stapleton and Keith Urban.
Female Artist of the Year nominees are Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves and Carrie Underwood. Up for Male Artist of the Year are Dierks Bentley, Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, Stapleton and Urban.

Among the scheduled performers are Bryan, Urban, Blake Shelton, Old Dominion and Kelly Clarkson, who will be singing with both Aldean and Dan + Shay.
Attention any and all pop culture fans: You're invited to country music's party of the year!
In case you didn't already guess, the 2019 ACM Awards are finally here meaning your favorite singers are descending onto Las Vegas for one special event.
Hosted by Reba McEntire, the live telecast will feature performances from the biggest names in country music including Kelly Clarkson, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line and more.
As for who could win big, we already know Jason Aldean will receive the much deserved ACM Dick Clark Artist of the Decade Award honoree.
In regards to the other categories, you'll just have to watch and find out.
